A friend got home from the hospital after being in for 2 months due to a leukemia relapse. She's been struggling with depression, and I don't know what to do to help. Any help would be appreciated.

Sweep her off her feet!( ok, not literally, but you know what I mean) buy her something that she'll love, like a necklace or something pretty. Tea always helps me when I feel down and also helped when I had depression. Make it with chamomile and a spoon of honey. Go on walks together( if she can walk 0-0) in places like flat-ish forest trails, like in parks. It releases a chemical in the brain which brightens the mood, like cutting only its good for you, only make sure she takes it easy. Pamper her! Take her to restaurants or make her fancy meals. Talk to her about how she feels and LISTEN VERY WELL( never blank out >:() watch cute and relaxing movies together. These r all the things I can think of, just treat her like a princess ;3 good luck

I always listen to everything she has to say. She is really great so I treat her to the best of my ability. Walks are something we do. Maybe not the fancy resturant though. ;) Thanks for the ideas. :)

If she ever wants to talk to you, talk. Listen. She needs you. Be there. Being there is what you should do.
