It's probably because your doing something different. The locker room isn't really somewhere to worry about your body. Everybody is different. Try changing outside of the stall.

It's because you are the only one that does this

I've been in that position too. And yes the action of going in a stall in itself can bring even more attention. It's easier to say than do, but just try to ignore it.

Listen,
Get a hold of your ego/pride.
First realize that's all it is. You don't want people to think of you different because you don't have some holister model body or something like that. All you have to do is rip your clothes off, change and get out of there. This isn't a pissing match. They look at you because they could either:
1. Believe that you think your to good to change infront of everyone else
2. Realize that you don't have a perfect body and that will actually draw attention to you.

My suggestion is you just change and get out of there, hatters be damned.

It's just a locker room. Just change like everyone else does man. Seeing how different everyone's body can only help you to have a better body image. It's truly nothin to worry about.

Ok do teh other guys use stalls or some of them - that could be why and maybe you more feel everyone is staring - when in fact they are not or it just feels bad for you .

Maybe if you did not use stalls you would be more aware of others and thier physique. you would soon see all shapes and sizes.

Can you at least try - even tell a friend what you hope to do and just get in and get on - any comments just laugh them of and after a few goes you will be ok.

When you say "poor body" what exactly is the issue?

If it's about your penis/genitals, don't have anything to be ashamed about.

If you are saying you are "fat" and embarrassed, simply turn around and face the wall when you take your shirt on/off.

Get out of the toilet! At my school, you are guaranteed to get teased if you change in the stalls.

Honestly who cares! That's what the locker room is for! Most of the guys don't even care what you look like because they are too busy getting them dressed up. Reason why everyone stares at you because you're the only one who's chicken to change in front of everyone who's the same gender as you.

My advice is just to think nothing of it, if everyone does it that makes it more normal

Just change in the locker room, that's what its for!
Don't worry about your body, everyone is different and you will probably grow. Just be confident and no one will likely tease you. But if someone at my school hid in the toilet to change thats about the only reason you would get teased.

No one cares what you look like in the locker room. I'm probably the scrawniest kid on my team, but I change in front everybody else. Its no biggie. I've changed in front of girls who have walked into the guys locker room.

Don't be afraid to show your body. You know what you look like, so be comfortable. We have so many different shaped people on our team, that no one cares who looks like what. And sure, you'll get the occasional, joke but laugh with them. I get skinny jokes all the time, I embrace because I know that's what I am.

don't you leave your boxers on when you change? Well at my school we don't have to take showers so it's not a big issue with me.

The reason people stare at you when you walk in and out of the stall is because you are the only person doing that. You are drawing way more attention to yourself by doing that.

If you truly are just that uncomfortable changing in front of other people, then it is fine to continue changing in the stall. However, in my personal opinion, I think you sort of need to suck it up and just change in front of the other guys. I am not trying to be mean at all. So I apologize if that is how it comes off. I am just trying to help. The thing is, most of the guys won't be looking at you. You can have an amazing body and people still probably won't look and comment. Most guys kind of just do their own thing. They are too worried about getting themselves dressed.

But like I said, you are just drawing more attention to yourself by changing in the stall. I can guarantee you that nobody will make fun of you, call you out, or anything of the sort. In my experience, the ONLY time anybody has made fun of somebody in the locker room is when they are wearing tighty whities. Other than that, people don't care. So if you want my opinion, just change in front of the other guys. It is no big deal. The more you do it, the more comfortable you'll be doing it. Just continue to do it and eventually it will be no big deal.

Just change normally. It's actually easier that way. I know, crazy!

Your gym teachers know what they're doing when they make you use a locker room, and not a stall.

I don't feel bad about my image so i change for many people to see (gives me boners) and me & my friends compare like abs, penises, body hair, etc. especially when taking a shower there. & yes i'll be naked

Honestly, at the end of the day, no one really cares about how you look. They won't go home and think to themselves, "remember how bad ___ looked today?" Some people might, but that would just be creepy. People have better things to do than to make fun of other based on how they look.

The reason people stare at you is essentially because you change in a stall and not out in the open. I would try to start changing out in the open. Even a corner is better than the stall.

Good luck!

I would say just suck it up. It always seemed odd to me when people would change in stalls.
