I have a Samsung Galaxy S. Every time I go to my photo gallery, it seems to say "No SD Card Detected". My videos, apps and music play fine, but not pictures. I also can't download or delete things. I add files or remove them, but the ones I add disappear as soon as I disconnect from the computer (yes, I went through the whole safe disconnect process), and the ones I delete reappear when I turn it off and on again. Any ideas?

PS. Don't say "get a new phone" unless it truly is the only option. If you just cant think of a solution, say so.

Your sd card is probably shit. This happens, my dad just bought a brand new Droid Razr HD, and his sd card went shit. Just buy a new one, you'll probably loose everything stored on it though.

I back up most of my stuff onto my computer, so I could probably just transfer it.

Yeah, just get the new card, and transfer all the things from your computer onto it.

If you've got the stuff backed up on your PC, just buy a new card and transfer it over. Ironically, my SD card took a dump yesterday. :/

Back up the data on the SD card and perform a full format. See if that helps as it'll reset the disk and wipe away 'bad data'. If not, try the SD card in another phone and note what happens. If it works on another phone/device, your phone is faulty, otherwise if it does not, the SD card is faulty.

I would, but the only time the "Format SD Card" option comes up is when I disconnect it from the phone! I'll try anyway, though.

Yeah, do the format on the computer, then restore your data.
