im 17 and a half and i have never been kissed!!!
but for years ive been obsessed with being ready for that first kiss.
my breath is always fresh. i floss everday. i keep mouthwash in my backpack. my purse always has mints or gum. and my lips are never chap because i always have a chapstick in my pocket.
i just want someone, even a stranger, to just grab me and kiss me!

Oh stop it. You are thirteen years old. If you make up your mind now that your life will end if this ONE girl doesn't like you, then you're right- you'll be miserable for the rest of your life. That's just the fact of the matter. If you realize that you still have a good EIGHTY YEARS to live and literally HUNDREDS of other girls to meet, many of whom will be as good as if not BETTER than this ONE girl, then you'll be mature enough to handle a girlfriend.

That's the spirit! Too many teens [myself included] get sooo caught up in how utterly terrible the world is because they can't get a bf/gf boohoo, but in all honesty it will come with time. We're so freaking impatient when it comes to growing up we forget that we have to actually GROW at some poin- as in we're not just suddenly going to be adults. Oh lord, let me get off of my soapbox before I get out of control...short version: there's too much about life that's good to be worried about dating at 13.

Thank God someone else realizes that. I have issues deciding who is right for me and trusting people, so I don't expect to have my first kiss for quite a while actually.
