Circumcision

I have Phimosis ( i think) and im thinking of going to my GP or doctor and asking about a circumcision. Does it hurt and does the procedure take long?

It doesnt hurt as such, just afterwards it feels really weird and you might not be able to do certain stuff for a day or so. but the pain varies from person to person

Just follow what he said and that should be able to get you to retract your foreskin.

Circ would certainly solve the problem, but it's a pretty drastic response. A couple of thoughts from one who's been there: First, you sound impatient. It might help to remember that 50% of 15 y/o cannot retract or have some issue with retraction. You are not alone here. Second, if you gradually stretch in the shower, just a little bit at a time, over many weeks or even months, your foreskin will retract on it's own. Third, getting circ'd now would be very painful (even if the pain is temporary), and far more painful and inconvienent than bearing with the strecthing exercises. Lastly, you should tell your doc the next time you see him and let him examine you to make sure everything else there is ok and your tightness isn't due to other things. And, he can give a steroidal cream that might speed it up a bit.

Have patience, go slowly, do not force it all at once, give it alot of time, and it should work just fine.
