Lacking leg hair

Hi, I am 14 and In first year high school. I have had pit hair and pubes since 7th grade, but until now I still don't have leg hair compared to my friends' seemingly chewbacca legs. Is this normal?

I am the same age as you are and I don't have a lot of leg hair either so I think it is probably pretty normal...and my older brothers and their friends don't all have a lot of leg hair either so it might just matter who you are not how old you are

Body hair is mainly determined by genetic factors, so if you come from a rather un-hairy lineage, don't worry.

Trust me, my legs are literally about Chewbacca-levels and it's not always a walk in the park on the other side. I can guarantee you, overly-hairy legs garner much more negative attention than bare ones do.

I wouldn't worry about having hairy legs or not. I mean its one of these things that you can't control and it really depends on like Will said, your genes and how much you've inherited from your family.

I wouldn't worry about it because most people know that leg hair is one of these things you aren't always going to get in puberty so it isn't going to make you feel less developed than others. Plus you really do still have time, I mean you're 14.

Well it is genetics. Some of my friends doesn't have much hair lik other people, and some have alot. It isn't that matter, and all of the situations are fine

I think thats normal. I hope I don't get hairy legs, I've seen kids like that and it sorta looks funny. I'll be happy with pit and pube hair, the rest sorta don't matter unless I go to the north pole.

Well I'm 15 1/2 and my legs are pretty hairy and I don't like it. D: It's just like what everyone said above, everyone grows at different rates. Also, don't expect to be too hairy if your dad/grandfather aren't, either. You can use them as a reference of how you're going to be when you're fully developed (sometime in your early twenties.)

Both leg and chest hair are genetic based. For a male you might even want to compare at a grand parent level, My maternal grandfather was quite hairy and I think I take after him. You just have to take it as it goes.

Trust me you don't want it, i was a very early bloomer (got pubes at like 8 and a half) and because all the boys in my year have like no hair on their legs it's quite embarrassing to wear shorts, the girls comment and it's embarrassing lmao :L

yea, I was the same way until last summer when I was 16. Now have some not a lot and I hate it. Smooth legs are so much better and look better to. I shave them for the beach in summer :P

YA its normal im the same age but I have a decent amount of hair on my legs but some of my younger friends have Chewbacca legs
