That's always happened. Cammers, pic traders, and various other forms of fuckwits. It has nothing to do with this 'generation' of VTers.

Speaking of which, you're not really suppose to advocate contact information in your sig.

I'm sure many people join purely to troll and abuse the site, which is probably why a good portion of new users are banned so quickly. Just hazarding a guess, though.

that's when the number changes (from 500 to 1000) but I think the description changes from "nice poster" to "great poster" at 750...I'll find out as soon as hit "submit reply".

I bet that new members get banned for the same reason new members have always gotten banned. Failure to read the rules. It's nothing new. Hell, I never read the rules really until I became a moderator. I just went off of what everyone else did.
