So honestly, I am a little scared showing my parents I'm growing up. How would you say "I have a bf/gf" to your parents? I could never be straightforward and just spit it out. I would probably try to hide the fact that I would have one.

You don't actually have to tell them, it's your life. I've never told my parents about anyone I've dated. If you want to though, just go 'mum, dad, I'm dating *insert name here*' it doesn't have to be complicated.

I can see where you're coming from, I never introduced any girls to my parents.
I guess, if you just start to casually name drop a female friend, they'll work it out, then you wouldn't have to even tell them directly, watch it though, they might decide to ask you out right, so you could just answer honestly if you have the oppurtunity. But as Sio pointed out, it is your decision and your life so there's no pressure at all :)

Talk about your girlfriend often, and if they ask, just tell them you guys are dating. Or you could just kiss in front of them ;)

I would say. "Mum, Dad, I'm dating __________." Mum would say "I wouldnt if I were you, but whatever." Dad would probably have a talk with this person to make sure she'd treat me right.
