In the music section, a radio forum would be good :)
In the art room it would be nice to see a graphic design forum!

Not needed. You can just post your website link in your sig. A forum would attract spam bots trying to post links to harmful websites...[-]I believe there used to be one years and years ago but it was removed[/-].

No need for a completely separate section. The Tech Junky's Paradise is fine

No and no. I just don't think completely new sections are needed.

Jess pretty much summed it all up here.

Also, a radio forum is pointless. It fits fine in Music.
Also, Other Works is a suitable home for Graphic Design. I don't think there is enough work done for it to require it's own section. Look in Artwork and Other Works to see how few threads there are for it.

I agree with showcase but it is nice to see what new sites and projects are open. The coding doesn't bother me that much however, as an internet radio presenter and a graphic designer i think they would be useful as there is nothing relating to them on here

They could just go in the appropriate and closest forum section. There doesn't have to be completely new sections made.

You have to understand, new sections won't be added without a large need for them. One person wanting a section won't make it so. With the low interest in Radio and Graphic Design, the odds of it happening are slim to none, unfortunately.

I understand, just a suggestion haha

[-]Wow, you've been here for a day and are sure you know how to fix the site 100%.[/-]

Website Showcase: No, I don't like it. We're a teen help site, not a website developing one. To me, there's no need for this. There are plenty of forums out there for this purpose- so why not use those?

Coding Lounge: We have Tech Junkies Paradise, as mentioned. As with the other suggestion, we're a teen help site. That doesn't mean we are only going to make improvements based on that, but since that is the main purpose of the site, we are going to take it into consideration first.

Radio: As mentioned, what would even go there?

Graphic Design: Personally, I'd love one of these :P However, there's not enough demand for one, yet.

Fair enough on that one, and i'm not trying to 'fix' the site, i'm giving ideas like you ask.. hence why this section exists. Plus i've been on many forums and just letting you know what i've seen. Also owned my own (Talk-Gaming). And in radio you see people who launch internet radio stations or the what is your favourite station etc.

The reason people don't respond well to new members making suggestions is due to the fact that you simply have not been here long enough to see how our nice little site runs. We don't have a demand for most of the things you've listed as ideas, and it would have been made obvious had you waited. As a site, we do appreciate suggestions, but no one wants to take advice from the new guy. It's human nature.

I'm still surprised you got the themes suggestion going.

Anyways, on topic, none of these are necessary. If you really want a "radio" forum, request a diary (generic suggestion). You'll need to meet the requirements first though. Fair warning, radio stations have been tried by even some of the most respected and well known members and they fail. It's not the radio even, it's that teenagers like to listen to their music when they want to.

I get where you are coming from and maybe it was time to add a new theme aha?

If you ask me, no. I'm with the group of people on VT who say "if it aint broke, don't fix it." The themes have done fine all these years, and until they stop doing just that, I see no need for more. If you can't find one you like, that's no one else's problem but your own.
