I had a one-night school field trip a few days ago where we could wear free dress. When the bus stopped I was asked to borrow someone elses top and change from my spaghetti strap top. I am by far the "chestiest" girl in my year level and I wear my straps loosely so they don't dig into my shoulders. Anyway my straps keep falling off my shoulders in the bus and my top kept sliding down my chest. I caught a couple of boys sitting near me sitting up and "shifting in their seats", trying to catch a glance at my boobs. But the thing is, I am not a slut, I am single, and virgin, but i am so happy with my body that I love the attention and like to tease guys! As I got off the bus the teacher said "we don't need to see your underwear". My question is, if girls are confident enough to be revealing some of their body, why are there rules against clothing as simple as a spaghetti top?

Most dress code rules are in place to avoid distraction. Like at my old school, we wouldn't dye our hair unnatural colors because it would distract other students. Apparently shoulders are too sexual and distracting. Schools just like their students to look decent and presentable.

You are so evil! :P :D lol

I guess since the teacher made that comment, I'd wear something more covering. It would be really embarrassing if the administration made you change your clothes in the middle of the day.

The fact is, guys will be distracted by them (it is our complete biological programming to stare at girls), and so the school wants to have that minimized to keep the educational environment more professional-like.
