View Full Version : I don't have first person view on Google Maps. Why?

Here's what it looks like

Even when I place a drop pin, it still doesn't show anything like street view like it used to.

That's the Apples Maps app that's pre-downloaded.

Apple stopped shipping ios devices with Google's software stock, and instead tried to make their own.
Apple maps is completely DIFFERENT from Google Maps.
I don't think apple maps supports streetview like Google does.

Google puts a helluva lot of stuff into streetview. I doubt it can be replicated so simply.

Apparently apple maps has been shunned for a lot of messing up: addresses, locations, pictures...
My friends have found it to be really buggy too :/.

I use nexus and samsung Android devices. So I use only Google's maps and navigation services.

I'm pretty sure you can find Google Maps in the ios app store nowadays...

That's the Apples Maps app that's pre-downloaded.

Might be because Apple Maps doesn't have Street View.

I never did. My last update was 6.0 then I jail broke it.

I'm pretty sure the update got rid of the Google Maps App.
Look for it on the app store

You are using Apple Maps. Go download Google Maps from the App Store if you want streetview. Simple as that.
