What movie or TV series has taught you something for life?

Sometimes there are those movies or TV shows that teach you something about human behaviour, about morals, science, life, and more. What are those movies or TV series?

Mine are:

Saint Seiya - It taught me to always be persistent and never give up, to always have hope, and that friends and family are a priority.
Smallville - To inflict justice through hope.
Apocalypse Now - Do not be afraid to let your dark side out.
Game of Thrones - Power is something we create and give to individuals.

The Walking Dead - That tough blonde females are not invincible. :'(

Forrest Gump - Really taught me not to judge people. You don't know their story, you have no place to make judgements.

The Hunger Games taught me quite a lot about oppression and police-state worlds. I think the main lesson that I took away from it was to put the wellbeing of others above yourself.

Mamma Mia taught me that everything is funnier with music, even if we have 3 fathers and one of them is gay.

How I Met Your Mother taught me not to prefer girls instead of suits.

And Friends, well taught me that Friends are everything and taught me how to say "NOOO" like Rachel did!

Grey's Anatomy taught me that life in a hospital is not only about the cutting, the prescription and the white coat. its just as dramatic as life on the outside.

my little pony is always teaching me lessons
i suppose the most recent one would be, support your friends moving forward in life, even though that often means them leaving or making major changes to their life. also that when this happens, it doesnt change who your friend is. i kind of already knew this, but its nice for it to be brought back to your attention, it came up right when i needed to hear it.

PARENTHOOD. It covers almost everything that can inform people on many of today's issues. It really is the truest depiction of real life families that's currently on air. Modern Family doesn't do that for me.
