View Full Version : I don't want to hurt her

I tend to make my decisions based on my current mood and I never think things through. There is this girl that clearly likes me she said so her self, and well I will sound like an asshole, but I asked her out because I though she needed someone. Now the worse part is that she is an exchange student in Louisiana and she is going back to Hungary in June, I really only met her in like two days, and I do like her but just as a friend. This usually goes the other way around. I don't want to be a selfish and a hypocrite, because I don't believe in long distance stuff.

How can I end this before it gets worse???

Be direct and say you just want to be friends and nothing more.

I've done that once. The best thing you can do is be honest, and yeah she'll probably get annoyed but you have to stay true to yourself otherwise in the long run you end up not only hurting the other person, but hurting yourself. If you want to just remain friends, make sure you make that clear and make it clear you never intentionally meant to hurt her, it just happened. These things do happen and that's life, you just have to be sincere with it.

be totally honest and tell her how you feel
nothing gets fixed unless there is talking involved :)

Thanks :) Everything worked out, although we both felt really sad, and I will admit that she probably got his the hardest we are still talking everyday, and just because we broke up doesn't mean I have to be a dick and never talk to her again. Once again thank you everyone
