Okay a good firend of mine says working out too much is harmful ...

A little history my mom is an amateur MMA fighter.. so she works out for that.. and works at a gym as a trainer..

I do cheerleading, wrestling, gymnastics, kickboxing (mix martial arts), ballet, swimteam, and volleyball

So on a normal basis I am working out in some form or fashion.. This has been my regimate at least 2-3 times a week.

Wake up,
Do 20-30 mins of yoga
Run 2-3 miles

Go to school (I do half days)

Go to Ballet (2 times a week)
Go to Gymnastics (every day)
Go to MMA (Kickboxing Class) 3 times a week

When in season practice for Cheerleading, Wrestling, Swimteam, or Volleyball..

So would you say I work out too much?

I wouldn't say that's too much. Just a very active lifestyle.

Do you think it's too much? How does your body hold up with all of this working out? Are you often left in pain or really tired? I think it's only too much if your body can't handle it.

I am not in pain that often... there are some days.. like after a 5 hour Kickboxing class.. but I bounce back pretty easily... if you know what I mean.

I don't personally think that I'm in shape(at all), but literally I am fine with an hour or two or biking and MAYBE 20 minutes of yoga. All that just sounds like a really fun day!:D

That's a lot, but I wouldn't say it's too much. :)

I see no problem with it at all unlike me, i stated lifting weights at 15 while did loads of activities and was told by my doctor my bones would not develop properly, now keeping fit is different all the activities you do are more fitness then anything so is not to bad but you should at least give yourself 2 days a week of with doing all that to help you rest, but keep going doing well

The more you do the better, as long as you aren't running marathons every day for a year
