How much would it cost to build a luxury car, such as a Rolls-Royce from scratch? Of course it wouldn't be a Rolls-Royce, but it would just as luxurious.

Depends. A supreme, smorgasbord of absolute luxury and "Italian" leather stuff, or an encrusted ruby thing, or a simple luxury sedan? My estimates for each are $109,630, $2.2 mil, and $70,---, respectively. Perhaps my estimations are off, but it is a guess.

ANd add leather seats which would cost around a thousand bucks. Then you could add DVD players in the front head rests. That'd be like 600 bucks. A paint job ranges from spray painting it which is 50 dollars (awful idea) to a professional one which breaks 1,000. I know it;s not scratch, but you are looking at a total of 7 or 8 grand including the Lumina which is gonna cost you like 5 grand.

I have a friend with a '94 Lumina with over 170,000 miles on it. I know CHevy makes some bad cars, but from my experiences, they are bulletproof. (nt literally...)

A Rolls-Royce would cost quite a lot and it varies too much to give exact prices because Rolls-Royce are not produced on a basic standard often. Quite often a Rolls-Royce is built to the customers desires and wishes. For example I know that some people have requested a cooler device in the back of the car so they can have chilled drinks etc others have TVs and among other stuff.

So its hard to say plus everything built as a Rolls-Royce is made by hand, very few parts of it are done via technology and can take up to 6 months to a year to build depending on whats asked for it. I think getting the body made alone takes something like two months because I'm sure they've got to travel from Germany to the UK.
