Was very hungry and pizza looked cold so I ate a large bite. Turned out looks can be deceiving! It was really hot and I burnt the roof of my mouth. I took it much slower and let the other slice cool down. Any treatments for the burn? Recovery time? Thanks!

You just have to let it 'recover' naturally, you probably won't be able to taste anything for a couple days. Happens to me all the time when I burn my mouth or tongue. Always eat too fast that's my problem, hurhur.

Recovery time for me is about a week. Try not to have anything sour or hot during this time, it burns like hell.

Ouch. I hate burning the roof of my mouth.
There isn't really anything you can do for it other than waiting it out. It shouldn't take long to heal -- the mouth heals rather quickly. Be more careful next time!

You should try to avoid hot things and it should just heal up without you knowing :)

Pizza burns suck! It'll heal quickly, though.

Ahh I hate it when that happens! Maybe try pushing an ice cube on it?

The mouth is a fast place to heal.
Let time pass and learn from your mistake.
Enough said.

A piece of ice held in your mouth around the burn site should help
