I like Wrong Turn series as well! My best friends showed me that movie before I moved to the woods like in Wrong Turn. A few days after I moved I heard screams like the hillbillies in Wrong Turn. I ran inside and locked the doors. Hahaha! Anyways Nightmare on Elm Street, Childs Play, Jeepers Creepers 1&2, My Soul to Take and a few others...

The Silence of the Lambs and The Shining are my favorites. Can't really decide between the two.
But, they're not the scariest movies I've ever watched. That honor goes to The Strangers and Insidious. After watching them, I couldn't sleep for a week. :P

I like zombie movies alot. Dawn of the dead was awesome and I like the more funny ones too like shawn of the dead and army of darkness. I saw the new evil dead a few weeks ago and it was pretty predictable but wow was it gory.

Evil Dead - It makes you want to rip your eyeballs out afterwards, and that's a quality in horror movies that I look for.

I'm a HUUUUGE horror fan. And from all I've watched I can say I have two faves.
Insidious(2010) (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1591095/) and Shutter(2004) (IMPORTANT! Watch the Thai version..the US one is shit (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0440803/)
I love the classics some people have already mentioned(like Elm street and friday 13th).
one I watched recently was The mist and it effected me so much. But in a more dramatical way(I CRIED MY EYES OUT) than horror-ish,so it doesn't really count.

Silence of the Lambs and the whole Hannibal franchise. I'm not a fan of more modern horror films because I feel that they're all the same. I enjoyed watching Fritz Lang's "M", an older movie that I think can be classified as horror.
