Does anyone lose their virginity at this stage?
How?

Perhaps what he means is this teenage stage right now.

To answer that question in the way I see it, yes, people do, a lot of people. Even though that it is a common phenomenon, doesn't mean that you have to lose it now or be pressured into doing so. :)

I haven't. And I guess if people do it's by either just "getting lucky" or chatting people up, the majority of sex that occurs during teen years are not usually as a result of love, and it's the reason why most schools are now enforcing sex education at such a young age.

This ^ (Nice post Sandeep)

Very few people who have sex at this age don't do it for love. Sure you'll have the odd couple who'll tell you they had sex at this age and have go on to get married etc. However for the vast majority it will just be sex or at the time they'll think its love.

Umm, I don't want to loose mine till I'm married, because I know I'll be committed with the person I love the most. Plus I believe that's when you're suppose to do it, when a man and a women marry to become one, then they can have sex. Just my belief.

sorry. its just, don't you think you should know if you're even like compatible sexually before marrying someone?

Most of the time it's luck. I will tell you that when I dod it, it wasn't meaningless. I had known the girl for over 10 years and had been her boyfriend for over a year. But yeah, as I said before, it's usually just luck.

I view the relationship more for emotional then sexual stuff. Whomever I marry, I know she will be right for me and we don't need to have sex before we are married to trust each other or know we can live together perfectly.

I don't care when, but I do care who.
Only with someone I truly love. After being in a stable loving relationship for a while.

Don't hate on Grumpy, I totally respect his beliefs and I agree with them 100%. I would be in the same state, if it were not for my unique situation.

I've had sex, I'm 15. I don't see what the big deal with virginity is! Every other animal just goes around banging who ever... I don't see how it's any different to bjs ect it's just having fun and pleasuring each other.

I lost it when I was 11, I was very curious as a child I guess you could say, but the person it was with was older. I don't really care about staying a virgin, it's just sex to me

While it can be really awesome to have sex with someone you love, sex IS a huge part of the relationship, or we wouldn't be drawn to it. Those that choose to stay "virgins" have no idea how important it is, because they haven't experienced it. The "50"s" were full of "ozzie & harriet" marriages that ended up in the huge divorce rate we have grown to today...people rushing into marriage for all the wrong reasons...like getting rid of their virginity. Sexual compatability...and experience, is a truly important piece, no matter how much you "love" the person....and can end a relationship pretty quickly or make both partners miserable if it doesn't work for BOTH!!

um... im only 14. I'm not willing to ruin my life if something happens. You shouldn't rush these things. Be a teenager. You'll have plenty of time to have sex when you're older.

I'm still a virgin. And really there isn't a reason why I would want to have lost my virginity anyway.

I personally have but before you worry about getting it in, you should really find someone you love. You can only lose your virginity once, you should make it special. Not to sound like a cliche, but it does make it better to say "I lost my virginity to my love" instead of "I lost it to some chick at a party"

Well a lot of people lose it when they are a teen, most just "because", but don't rush. Wait until you know you're ready for it, otherwise it can be emotionally complicated and uncomfortable.

I lost my virginity at 16 with my gf. We're still together(almost three years) and we're fucking like bunnies.
