I would use cream, lotions, body oils, Vaseline,and, of course, the real lube you can get for under $5 at any store.

As a rule of thumb, as long as it is designed to be put on your skin and is not medicated or used for cleaning or sanitizing purposes, then it is all right to use as a lube. I would stay away from soaps, shampoos, and conditioners because those things can irritate your penis.

I use lotion, as most have stuff like vitamin E oil, so even when it soaks in, the oil keeps it lubed somewhat.

I would use something like a durex lube which is water based so will come off when you need it too :) also they do flavours and have different textures :)
