Just go for it. It does feel weird the first time. It may feel like you're going to pee, but just keep going. Do it somewhere private (eg bathroom) so that you can clean up afterwards. You will almost certainly enjoy it, but it definately doesn't hurt (if it does you are doing something completely wrong!). It is very unlikely you will find it gross, and there is absolutely nothing to feer!

It's normal to be scared to masturbate especially since you never had done it before. It might feel like you're doing something "adult" or forbidden, but masturbating is totally normal.
