This morning my boyfriend and I had sex for the first time. We used protection, and the condom broke. I took contraceptive pills. I'm supposed to get my period on sunday. Is it normal for PMS cramps that it hurts when I press on my belly?

Yea i think it's normal, but did you take a pregnancy test?

I had the same scare, except I was on the other side of it... Anyways, yeah, I do believe that is normal. I'd suggest taking a home pregnancy test though. They can be found really anywhere for 10-25 bucks.

If you're on the pill, you should be fine. However, like the others have said it might be wise to get a pregnancy test done just in case, but I'd advise you to wait until after Sunday when you're meant to have a period. Usually, it's normal to have those sorts of cramps, I know I get them and I don't have 'penetrative sex' or the ability to get pregnant. If you're really worried, as a last resort visit your GP.

First of all, wait on the pregnancy test. They normally aren't accurate for a couple weeks, you don't want to waste your money, and besides, you don't need to worry until then. If your period is a week late, then worry. Second, unless you're on birth control, your period could be coming early for whatever reason. Periods don't always come exactly on time. Third, the cramps could just be because you had sex for the first time. I assume you meant your first time altogether, not your first time with him? That could cause some cramping because the muscles down there probably got quite a work out.

You wouldn't be feeling symptoms of pregnancy yet if it was just yesterday morning. If you're still feelin pain, it's probably pms but my gyno told me that sharp pains weren't uncommon in the belly area for people after they've had sex for the first time.

It wasn't my first time, only my first time with my boyfriend. My periods got all screwy when I first had sex, but that was about a year ago. They evened back out to being every 21 days. I'm hoping it's just gonna be like a normal girl's normal period because I haven't gotten it yet and I'm scared shitless.
