How much is showing off too much?

We just had the first sunny day in what seems forever in London today and nobody was home so I spent it all day on the balcony in a bikini trying to turn the white bits a darker shade of white :D I usually wear little anyway but i thought it'd be a bit rude to strip off with all my neighbours around even if it was the middle of the day.

As the day went on, I kept finding myself pushing down my bikini bottoms to get a bit more tan and got wondering. On a clothes only beach, what would you consider showing too much off? I guess i sorta draw the line at nipples and slit but i guess if you're really smooth nobody would even realise too easily. I don't know if i call it exhibitionism, i just want a tan god damnit! :P

If I'm on a public clothing beach I will lay on my stomach and untie by bikini top and let the strings fall to the sides. When I lay on my back I will push my bottoms down a bit to were my slit is still covered, I'm smooth so it really isent a problem. And my top I adjust it around so my nipples are still covered, I'm a 34c.

firstly. move to another country if you want a tan.
secondly just find a quiet spot and strip off everything. no more tan lines.
and the boys wouldn't mind. ;)

If it's a non-nude beach, please don't display nudity. It's a non-nude beach for a reason, usually for kids. You can pull your bikini down (no nipples, I would suggest) and bikini bottoms (not too far).

If I can't tan nude I do that too, except sometimes I let just the first hint of slit show

I never do nude at the beach, but we have a balcony upstairs at our house, so I get zero tan lines there. Some of my friends lay out on their roof.

If I'm somewhere public then bikini is all I do. If I want to tan naked I just do it at my friend's pool when her parents aren't home.

I totally agree, that's why i stated in my OP that it wasn't an exhibitionist thing but a question asking what you thinks acceptable without going too far.

I'm a guy and if I'm tanning at the beach I will pull my trunks down to the top of my "shaft" but not to where everything is visible.
Then obviously I don't have a top.
