You should setup display fusion, and have a wallpaper spanning over the two.

I had a nice dual monitor setup, way better than single monitor. A dual 1920x1080 Acer 24inch monitor setup. It was lovely. I miss it :p But, I did get me a nice 2560x1440 monitor on order though, so I can't wait!!
