:( I have been friends with this girl for a long time, great friends. Now that we are in high school her and her other friends often drink and goto parties(freshman) I have always been the guy that never drinks never will and is against it. Should i just still like her for her non drinking personality. and accept people liking drinking just not do it myself. And still goto the parties jsut to be there. Or should i be mad at her, and let her know that she is changing, and shouldnt be drinking, and be like she used to be.( we used to talk about how we would never drink now she is) what should i do??:(

Well, I would tell her how you feel. Tell her your afraid for her, and that you really want her to stop. Hopefully, she will

i'm sorry to say it, but i doubt she will stop drinking unless you two start an intimate relationship.
around this age a lot of teens start discovering themselves and can make regrettable choices.
so tell her how you feel, and stick to sobriety if thats what you believe in. you can still have fun at parties without drugs

This is a tough one. People change in high school, sometimes they drink or drug. It's hard if you make a different decision. The important thing is to respect her decision, even if you disagree with it. You can choose to do differently, and I guess you should extend her the same courtesy.
Since you're good friends, though, and you have a history, you might tell her what your decision is, and what your concerns for hers are. The important thing, i think, is for both of you to find a neutral space in your relationship where you can be together without that difference in drinking behavior becoming between you. So, I don't think you should be 'mad' at her, or otherwise change your feelings about her. People can disagree or do different things or change and still be friends. Especially if they have a long history with eachother.
