How Do You Add "Meme Font" to pictures?

I want to add this font to pictures from the web. Please note that I am using a 2012 MacBook Pro.

That's actually the font Impact in white, with a black outline, if I'm not mistaken.

I use Photoshop. The font is Impact. Add a Stroke effect to the text layer.

I am on windows 8 and I have an app called meme generator. Its pretty good, has all the basic memes and the option to add your own.

I play about with it now and then. For Macbook, I'd suggest going with that the others have suggested.
