If, or on what level do you trust your government. I find the US one to be very corrupt and full of misleading ideas and information and I choose not to believe in them. How do you feel?

I don't even trust my own mom. So I wouldn't ever trust the government.

I completely trust our government...to do whatever it can to further its own interests at the expense of the people.

I'm not sure about the US government. I mean if you look into some of the theories..... creepy.

The owner of the pawn shop in the show pawn stars put it really well. "its not that I don't trust you I don't trust anyone" I feel the same way so, I'd say that covers the way I feel about the U.S. Goverment

It's not about who you trust, it's about who you distrust the least. While the US government is corrupt, through campaign finance and lobbying, it's perfectly fine compared to most other countries.

What does trust mean really?
Blind faith and obedience?
Trust elected officials to do the right thing? Still seems like blind faith to me..
I believe someone once said that democracy only works if the people keep a vigilant eye on it...
Now I dont think democracy works really but there isnt anything better left.
I dont trust my own government at all.

I don't believe that we were ever meant to trust our government. We were intended to keep a very close eye on them, and to let them know when they were messing up. People became complacent, though.

I trust my government 70%, 80% if i supported what they actually are.
I don't see why I shouldn't

I trust my local government moreso because they are more in touch with the needs of our community. The higher up in governement you go, the less I trust them for that basic reason.

That's a very smart perspective. I agree with you.
Higher governments that govern whole areas or countries are naturally going to have less of a sense of community, which doesn't make me want to blindly trust them.

While I'm not a fan of the American government because all the parties do is fight about worthless issues, I trust that they will keep us safe, and tell us what we need to know. Sure, they don't tell us every detail, but imagine the madness if they told us something like the locations of certain people, or that aliens actually did come ti earth.

I believe in some of our current political figures. I agree with Obama- people got upset because Obamacare isnt until 2014. Just remember it could be until never! And the same-sex marriage lifts. (Im pretty democratical myself)
Its just sometimes I kind of question were we're all going and whats up next for us. A life-changing invention? War? Economy lifts/drops? Unearthly visitors? (:0) Who knows?

i think people over generalise who the government is.
i trust the government and i trust the people, but its go betweens for them that i dont trust, theyre the ones who skew the messages and affiliate with the oragisations that dont legally exist.
at no point does the president kick back and make a list of the propanganda that needs to be made.

I trust no one, therefore I would never trust a government, especially not one as non-functional and filled with idiots like Venezuela's government.
