Too many straight people

So, there's something I've noticed thru being on here, and living life. Where I live, everyone is either gay, or straight. Nobody is really curious, or open minded about unorthodox sexuality. But when I go on VT, there are all kinds of posts of teens experimenting, and being curious, or just having relationships with their mates where they masterbate or be nude around each other. So, I'd love to know what other people's communities are like. It'd be great If your post could mimic some thing like this....

When regarding homosexuality, attitudes at my school are so stratified that there really isn't a general consensus. Some kids think it's fine, others think it's repulsive. I've never heard anything about experimenting; I'm sure groups of friends talk about it amongst themselves, though. My group of friends has never mentioned it.

Unfortunately, my school is the "rich kids, spoiled kid" thing filled with cheerleader types and jocks. So they tend to look down towards gays/lesbians which is stupid and mean. We never talk sex too openly

I know exactly where your coming from JON, I recently moved states, and where i used to live it was no experimenting heard of, no-one even really talked about jacking off.

The reason why on VT everyone is so open like that is because that's the only reason why we came here. Otherwise, we wouldn't be on here. In actuality, we are only a minority of the population ...

What is the general over all attitude toward experimenting and homosexuality where you go to school? Experimenting, not sure, but I go to an extremely liberal school in an extremely liberal state. Everyone is pro-LGBTQ. There are posters all over the school and often there are lectures or seminars on diversity, gender and sexuality included. Though I don't know personally of any students who identify as anything other than heterosexual (although some teachers do, my French teacher for example would be happy to tell you that he's gay and proud of it), they wouldn't face bullying or ostracism for it in my school.
