For those of you who use Hotmail (not a thread to post your email, obviously)...how do you like the change to the new "Outlook"? I kinda like it, but it'll take some time getting used to.

I kind of like it as well. It looks a lot cleaner and overall a lot nicer. I didn't have any trouble adjusting to the new layout, then again, the only thing I do is check email.

Feels like a massive tablet app...probably because it's a complete copy of the Windows Mail app on Windows 8, so Microsoft must have thought "lets make this layout universal across all platforms". A little harder to navigate though, they should allow us to switch back to the old layout.

I'm fine with it, though I rarely use the web version of it. I just use my MS Outlook program that came with Office for mac.

I hate it, how do you change back?

Don't think you can o_O

EDIT: Found this: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/outlook/auto-upgrade-outlook-faq

Why can't I switch back to Hotmail?
Over time, Hotmail will be phased out and Outlook.com will be the free email service from Microsoft. As part of this transition, we've removed the option to switch back to Hotmail.

Out of luck :(

I don't really like it. In terms of how the email's are displayed and opened with the little sidebar and whatnot, that's pretty much the same, it's just enlarged, turned blue, and has had the advertisements cut out, but not it just looks a little too boring for me. It's just plain. I'm getting used to this one, but I prefer the old one, and they need to spice it up a bit. :P

I don't really like it. Though, I usually only use my phone or tablet to use my email, so I don't see it very often.

I don't mind it actually. I didn't like the Live layout much anyways. The social feed was nice though.

I was not told that they had changed my email address over to outlook and had trouble accessing my emails but then I worked out what had happened. I find it more professional but it feels too much like Windows 8 and I hate Windows 8 with a passion

I find it really annoying and bulky

I noticed something about switching and I'm honestly going too. However I'm considering switching my email address to a new provider. I don't like hotmail and never use it anymore. I've already changed most of my emails and now have a copy of emails sent to one location as this provider has a mail collector. so I never have to use hotmail anymore or even visit it.

I would never switch, for some reason I hate Gmail. I've tried to use it and I just gave up trying to use it instead of Hotmail. I've used Hotmail for too long and most of my important emails are in there.

I love it honestly. It's simple, clean, and low intensity on your computer.

I switched to Gmail about a month before hand. Didn't really like the idea.

I really like it, it integrates well into the other Microsoft products and looks more like the other services too.

I don't really like it, plus Google Chrome doesn't seem to load it properly so I open my emails via Microsoft Outlook 2010. I also made myself a new gmail account.

Chrome loads it fine for me.
