do you think people should get piercings, tattoos, brands or other forms of body modification. do you think its wrong morally or in any other manner. i personally love body mods as no two mods are the same and they all are unique in one way or another.

I personally would never do it, but it's one's own body, and if they want to get piercings, tattoos, etc, they should be allowed (provided they aren't too young of course); who am I to say they can't modify their own bodies? I see nothing wrong with it.

If they want to do so, let them! There is nothing wrong with it.
I do not see how it could ever be called morally wrong, it is not like they are committing a crime nor are they hurting somebody in the process.
Also, body modification has been around for millenia, so there is obviously something that drives us to seek some sort of modification.

Yes people should be allowed body mods because 1) it's that persons choice, it's not hurting anyone, did I say it's that persons choice and 2) I freaking love body mods! I have a couple of piercings but they only ones I really count as 'mods' are my stretched ears.
I love small amounts of piercings, I love big amounts of piercings. I love small amounts of tattoos, and complete body coverage tattoos. One I really love is scarification! I think it's stunning. Play piercings, suspension, implants, tongue splits, elf ears. You name it, I'll probably like it, as long as it's done properly off course.

I definitely think they should be allowed. I love tattoos and more "tame" piercings. To be honest, all over facial piercings and implants freak me out a bit, but it's kind of like a form of art, and while it may not be my taste, if they like it, they should totally do it. Besides, it's their body. They can do whatever they want.

Oh yes. I've got two tattoos, four piercings, and some sweet-ass hair, and I love it. Every new modification I get, the closer I feel like I am to the real me.

I see nothing wrong with it, it doesn't harm me (Not sure about them). If they feel as though this is want they want, then why not?

Not really my thing (although I might consider a small tattoo), but I'm not going to stop others who want to do it.

People should be able to do whatever the hell they want with their own body.

I have no problem with it. It's a person's right to do what they want with their own body.

There is no moral issue that I can think of, it's your body, it has no harmful side effects and it's relatively safe

I'm only ok with boob implants and a few tattoos here and there. And when (SOME) guys have those diamond ear studs ;)
But I prefer just the natural look, nothing like tattoos or earrings or those nasty/disgusting body piercings or body implants (like when they put designs under their skin)

I find piercing and tattoos that the Decree disgusting and disturbing. I do not believe obtaining such substances or objects on the human body are necessary aspects or treats or symbols of individuality. I disapprove to the “modification” of the human body that is my option, you are free to make your own.

I love body modifications! I have some right now, i have 8 ear piercings(5 are stretched) and a nose piercing. I will eventually get some tattoos and maybe dimple piercings. I find piercings and tattoos very attractive on people. ok, it does depend on how many there are on their face( like multiple piercings on one lip or just over bearing piercings) and if there are unusual ones that are stretched, like lips or nose, but if the person with them feels good than thats awesome! The only things that i personally do not like are breast implants, face lifts, anything like that.

I don't understand why you're ok with all of those, yet you're not ok with face lifts or breast implants. The face lifts, breast implants, etc. improve a persons look unlike the other body modifications you've mentioned.

I didn't mean that i didn't improve of them, I meant that i personally would not want them. Sorry, i was unclear.
Sorry i meant approve of them, not improve.

Piercings, Tattoos and that sort of stuff is pretty cool, because when we're born, we're essentially a blank canvas, but when people do that sort of thing, it's just filling in the white space.
