Well, I was wondering what it's like to have a mom that lives with you and you talk to everyday. I have a mom, but she's never been there for me, so I've never really known what it's like.
What's your experience? Maybe you could sum up what it's like in one or two sentences?:yeah:

I'd like to know too. Mine died when I was six.

I'm sorry. Mine was very close to dead when I was three. I can't even imagine what it would be like dealing with the death of a parent.
Hopefully we can get our question answered:P

Well, my mom wants what's best for me and worries about my "inability" to talk (and other stuff). She also is nice enough to mainly cook dinner that I like; she buys clothes for me. Uh...that's about all I can think up of.

Well with my mom, she's super strict on grades because she wants me to go to Loyola Marymount University. She's not that strict on other things though. She's very cautious of feeding me and my sisters unhealthy food (unfortunately dinner is not usually good, lol) but, we can talk about girl stuff, like puberty, drama at school, boys (eventually girls but i haven't told her that information yet). Yea thats pretty much a short summary of how it is with my mom. What's your situation?(if you don't mind telling)

Well we constantly fight, but that's normal as long as it's not daily lol It's like having a brother or a sister, but they give you so much more. It depends on their personality though...some can be evil and some can be the greatest mothers in the world.

Having a mom is like... Well it's having someone that can scream like a banshee to wake you up in the morning, and 10 minutes later, the best friend you could want. It's someone you can always know that loves you, no matter how far away you are.

I can say (not trying to brag)
it feels great having my mom nearby
I see mine everyday. we travel together so we are always together
she makes me better when I am sick. she is there to talk to whenever I am depressed and sad. she tucks me into bed sometimes
yeah I love my mom. having her around is the best feeling in the world :)

I suppose it's different for everyone, depending on how good a relationship they have with their mum..

My mum and I are close. So, for me, it feels good to have her. Someone who cares for me, wants to protect me, and encourages me to be the best person I can be. Sometimes she gets on my nerves, but I love her regardless.

I'm sorry that you aren't able to experience that. But remember, you're not alone. There are a lot of people here who I'm sure either don't have mothers, or don't have good relationships with them.

This is basically me as well.

Me and my mum are close, I'm close with both my parents and its nice to always know I'll have someone to look out for me and want me to do my best at everything and anything. Sometimes some of the stuff she does or says gets on my nerves but at the end of the day I love her regardless.

Its entierly different for every family and some people have full time mums that don't mix well and then that can be very strenuous. I guess their is no "one family picture" when it comes to parents.
