I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place!
I just wanted to know if anyone else was haunted by their work. If they spend their days feeling an aching feeling in their soul when they don't write. If they have that urge, no, need to create something, anything at all. If their Muse or whatever term you have for it whispers in your ear frantically and feverishly when you're on a role, and it takes over your body and you're a slave to the pen.
For me, there's no feeling greater in the world than to be possessed by my own story as I write it. The world around me literally melts away and the only thing that I can think about is getting the story that demands to be written onto the paper. This is a pretty basic description of what happens to me, I could probably write a story itself trying (and failing) to describe the process properly haha
I dunno, is it different for you? If so, describe, I'm really curious what goes on in other peoples heads when they're overtaken by their creations.
