Wat part do I need to buy for my alcohol damaged iPod?

So I have an ipod that got damaged by an alcohol drink. The iPod still charges and turns on but the screen shows nothing but lite. What must be repaired? The LCD and digitizer?

take it to apple
alcohol is just as bad as spilling pop in a laptop
the acid is deathly

and as long as it responds to a charger then its probably not a hardware problem

This is why people should not take there personal electronics when they plan on getting drunk. Try taking it to a private repair store because the warrenty is probably void. Best of luck though.

It sounds like those are the only two, but you can't tell from the exterior. Take it to an Apple store and hve them analyse it for you. It shouldn't make much of a difference whether it be alcohol or water.

It's not. I was fixing my iPod touch and I got some of the liquid on my hand. But it's not lethal or anything. You just shouldn't touch it.

According to my mom it's deadly to humans too, but that's a rant for another topic.
