Edibles vs. smoking?

Okay so I heard that edibles made with marijuana give you a different feeling than when smoking marijuana. I've smoked marijuana before, but I've never had an edible. So what's the difference?

Oh yea that makes sense. Lol. In your opinion which ones better, a body high or a head high( I'm guessing that's what it's called)

Is the high better even though it takes longer? My friend has edibles for sale so i was going to buy some to try them. How long is the high on average?

Edibles are another option but it is a completely different drug. When you eat an edible, the THC gets converted into a metabolite so that it can be absorbed into your digestive system instead of your lungs. It's called 11-hydroxy-THC metabolite. It has many different effects than THC and is more potent. So eating it feels somewhat different than smoking.

In my experience, edibles give me a very stoned couchlock feeling lol, but at the same time they make you feel a little trippy and they make me think to myself a lot, and all of that shit :p

Yeah, its more intense. A edible high would be about the same as smoking

You're welcome. Just a tip but if you don't have a tolerance for eating it then don't put in a lot of weed otherwise the high will be unbearable instead of fun and enjoyable.
