Unfortunately my life has taken a turn for the worse. I was in a committed relationship with a girl but then she had to move and apparently she isn't allowed to speak to me. Recently my cousin passed away, she was in the passenger seat of a car and his "friend" lost control of the car and they swerved into the other lane. My dog also passed and I don't even know how, there is to much violence and death in this world. A 10 year old child was killed when a sign fell on him and his family, a mother was going for a walk with her baby and to guys came up and shot her and her child. I don't know what to think anymore.

Break the cycle. Do a good deed. In fact, do a lot of them! :)
Life may seem hard now, and while it may get better, it'll never be perfect. Just recognize that other people in the world are going through times more serious and endangering.
Help other people in any way you can. By helping people less fortunate than you, you'll feel better about yourself; you made a difference in the life of someone struggling. The world may be a violent mess, but it doesn't have to be. You can change that. The headlines don't have to be glorified murder stories. They can be about a boy named Pierce who raised money for charity or ran a drive for the local food bank.
Don't let life get you down, Pierce. Bad things happen. You just have to remember that good things happen, too. :D

I know what you're saying, man. I mean the holiday season was ruined for me because of these awful events happening. I am sincerely sorry about what has happened. My advice is to do what Brisk said and do a lot of good deeds for people. It will make this world a better place. Again, I am truly sorry...

I've been Depressed since the age of 12, I've self harmed since that age, stopped when I was 16 and over the years, I've tried to commit suicide at least 6 times.
I'm really sorry to hear about your cousin and what their "friend" did was irresponsible and though your dog died for reasons that aren't clear yet, but please remember, things do get better.
I suffer borderline Severe Depression and even I have my good days :)
If you ever need somebody to talk to/vent to or just casually chat with about anything you like, feel free to Private message me :)
Some times things look like they are never going to look up, but they do in the end - it just takes time :)
