Contacts

So I got my first pair of contacts today. I was wondering if any of you guys wear them? And what your experience is with them?

i wear contacts alot not on a daily basis, but im required to wear them for certain jobs amd such. my experience with them is good, their comfortable in my eyes for about 4-5 hours then imlike to but drops! it helps! and putting them in and tsking them out is super easy now i remember in the beginning it was aweful!

I love contacts. I wear mine everyday. I got glasses when I was 8, and contacts (finally, haha) at 13. I've only ever had 1 minor incident with them, and it was minor. Never had infections or anything like that.

It's just important to remember to take them out every night, and depending on the type, take care of them properly. Mine are disposable, so every month, I have to change them and such, and take extras with you when you go on trips, be it overnight or a week long. If they're not, be careful not to lose them, haha. And on the whole sleeping thing, if you sleep in them, at least take them out for a few minutes in the morning. I'll put mine back in, I know my dad wears glasses after sleeping in his.

I do shower with mine and swim with mine, which isn't necessarily the best, but you just want to be careful not to get to much water in your eyes and stuff. Eye drops will be your best friend sometimes, and some days, your eyes might reject the contacts period, which is nothing to really be concerned about, just screw them and try again the next day.

You probably got most of this from your eye doctor but yeah. I love contacts and have had a great experience with them. :)

I have contacts but I really only use them when I'm going to something special other then that I just use regular glasses. I do remember thought that the first time I used contacts I found it very painfull hopefully you won't exprience the same thing .

I've worn them for at least two years now and I love them. I definitely prefer wearing contacts to glasses. At home though I wear glasses.
