I don't quite understand it yet like they mother and son bought a motel to start over. from what I understand the mother and song have family issues and conflict.

Have you seen Psycho? You know, that old Hitchcock movie?

That's what this show is based on. It serves a bit like a prequel to the events of the movie, but it's set in the modern era.

Basically, Norman and Norma leave their old residence after Norman's dead dies in an accident. They want to start over and get away from all the painful memories. The town they move to is called White Pines Bay. It's a small town, so it's pretty secretive and isn't too fond of outsiders such as them.

Anyway, I don't want to spoil anything for you. Even though the show is supposed to be a prequel to the movie, I think you could benefit from watching it. It'll make thing clearer.

I also want to say that I love the show. It's pretty cool. It's different from most shows on TV these days, and it piqued my interest as soon as it was announced. The first two episodes have been great, and I really hope the rest are just as good. I can't wait to watch the new one!

I watched it but i missed the second one and i am pretty pissed about that
the first one was pretty fucked up the mother murders that creepy man good riddance to him. aside from the walking dead and chicago fire I like this series
I only watch it because of freddie highmore lol

This is definitely my new favorite show to watch. It has such a great hook cause if you have ever seen Psycho (which is a great movie), then you already know what to expect and are so interested in how it is going to play out. Also, every episode has some sort of big reveal or shocking moment, which I think is awesome

yeah I been watching it with my mom. Really awesome show, course when it gets more amazing the finale is Monday. :(

I adore the movie Psycho, so I freaked when I saw they were making a TV show based off of it. I think Freddie Highmore does an amazing job at playing Norman Bates. I can't wait until the Season 2 premiere. :)
