Are you a good speller?

So with me, I am, but here's the catch...

I can only spell good if I act like I'm typing it out. Is anyone else like me? Like if someone asks how to spell something, I can spell it very good but I have to acct like I'm typing. So yeah it's weird I know xD lol

I am a great speller for everything
I was top in my english classes all through high school
although sometimes I forget to capitalize my "I" and use proper punctuation marks whenever needed.

I cant do that... but the way I do ut is I see the word in like 3D in my head and each letter I spell come out ckoser... kinda weird!

I like to think I'm reasonably good at spelling, but there are some words I have trouble with every now and then and I kind of suck when it comes to grammar. Earlier I used draw when I was supposed to use drew for example. A dumb mistake. I also don't know exactly what adjectives, verbs, nouns and such are and their differences which kind of sucks. I never saw the point though. Why the heck do I need to know that bollocks if I already know how to use the words? Though I have discovered that knowing their meanings can actually be useful and I should probably learn them all.

I like to think I'm a good speller, my friends usually ask me how to spell words and I think know the laws of English and how to sound out everything properly, but I wouldn't say I'm extremely good, maybe just... Slightly above average. :P

I'm pretty good speller if I'm writing on actual paper. It's weird, I can write a paragraph out on paper and have no spelling mistakes, but ask me to type the same exact paragraph, and I'll probably have some mistakes. If you ask me to spell a word out loud I'm average, and have to picture the word in my head. But yeah, I'm pretty good with the exception of a few words that have always given me trouble.

Edit: Something I forgot to mention, my spelling has gotten worse since I started taking French. I'm an excellent speller in French, but unfortunately I get things mixed up when i spell in english. I say things like salade, belle, chocolat... mostly cases of adding or leaving off e's.

I've always had some natural knack for spelling. Sometimes if I'm thinking about the spelling of a word too much I have to write it down somehow to make sure it looks right, but generally I can spell pretty accurately.

I do spell right although I do get confused with some double consonant words like necessary and exaggerated. I am way better at spelling when I write or type in Spanish.

I'm pretty good at spelling but not super super good. Otherwise I wouldn't have failed on my first word in the first spelling bee I've ever been in (was in one during middle school). Then again, I freaked out, standing in front of a big audience...

I'm good enough at spelling so I can correct my mom or little brother.

I'm terrible at spelling. My target for year 8 English was to practise spelling, I wrote this over a double page in my book so it was really big and I managed to spell finally 'finnally' which was ironic but yeah, never been great at spelling.

In a spelling bee I managed to spell fudge 'fuge' and alphabet 'alphabeat'. I got called up on the 'fuge' things for so many years after that.

Yeah, I think I'm a pretty good speller. I also properly use punctuation marks and use know when to use capital letters.

I've been in quite a few spelling bees, and I've won all but one. :)

I think I'm a pretty decent speller. I can generally spell most of the words in my vocabulary correctly, anyway. Obscure words that I don't use often/am not familiar with are a little tougher. Thank god for spell check.

BTW I'm totally paranoid that I've spelt something wrong in this post after bragging about my spelling skills.

Yep, it's very rare I spell a word wrong. In fact grammar in general I'm actually quite obsessive with, I always feel the need to correct my friends haha!

I'd say that I'm pretty good when typing or writing things out, but I have a harder time with saying it out loud.

Then again, I did get 5th out of 26 on my school's spelling bee last year... Even if for whatever reason they stuck the Grade 4 students with the Grade 8 students.
