ok so i just saw the 3/24/13 episode of the walking dead, tbh i was about to cry, murals death was so sad and when daryl found out it just left me breathless. what was your guys reactions to the episode?

I like the show but I have missed so many episodes I am quite confused :(
the last one I watched was the one where the governor and that other guy meet up and then hes gonna kill everyone hiding out at the prison
I missed alot in between that.

Great build-up towards the finale, I had predicted Merle's death since they re-introduced him in the beginning of season 3. I kind of know how the finale is going to go since I read the comics, however there are always changes.

I liked the last few episodes. They were pretty awesome, although it sucks two awesome characters were killed off. TWD has a habit of killing off the most developing or develop able characters it seems.

I wish Andrea didnt die :( i wanted the govenor dead, something is that i like on how Carl screws stuff up, its funny at times haha but i totally think he did a cowardly move. Just killing a person no older than 20 while he was handing over his gun in a surrender.

I was expecting the season finale to go like it did in the comics (basically everyone dies), however I was somewhat pleased with this one as Rick seems to have regained a sense of humanity and Carl seems to be getting darker and darker. This finale is merely a lead-up to the next season.

Wow. It was an awesome episode. Kinda wonder what happens next with the Governor. Sad about Andrea, though.

I think that in season 4, the Governor's presence will be smaller. He only has two men left, so he can't really do much.

Karen will become Andrea 2.0 and take the storylines that Andrea has in the comics. Most of the season will just revolve around the group trying to sustain there now large numbers and their need for supplies and ammunition, rather than an impending showdown between Prison/Governor like this season.

I agree it was a great episode but all the episodes in earlier seasons were this good, and the rest of this season was weak. imho

i do i agree with Brandon1995 this seasons good episodes were the last 2 and when the govenor had a surprise attack on the prison.

The first half of season 3 was brilliant. The second half, imo, was full of filler. It was all about the rising tension between the Gov/Rick. Which I wouldn't have minded if had really gone somewhere.. but all that happened was a 2 and a half minute battle that didn't even have a casualty.

I am watching it on DVD, so I haven't seen any from season 3. I am watching season 2 now and it's brilliant so far, but was sad when they found out who was in the barn. :(

Anyone else have the three disc set from season 1, with the black&white version of the pilot? I think the show looks great that way, even though the blood isn't red.

Because nationality does not matter as long as you play your role and play it well, and that is what they do.

Because it's not a zombie show. It's a survival show. It's about the survivors, and the conflicts that arise from the character's quest for survival.

People just don't get that. The main story line is quite similar to the comics, and it's not going to stray from that to become a show about a group killing zombies and shooting shit and blowing shit up 24/7. Honestly. It isn't a Michael Bay film. :')

I agree that it's really about the people and their relationships and how they react to things that happen to them. The things that happen to them are mostly zombies but can be other people too. But it could be dinosaurs or lost in time and it would till be these people beng themselves and the acting is really good. But I am glad it's zombies.

Merle died valliantly. Daryl's confrontation with him at the end gave you a good picture of the tension and anger that Daryl felt with Merle.
