Well I probably have somewhat of a different perspective than what you're looking for as my only experience has been with another girl, but we usually keep it all in one session that has peaks and valleys of intensity. We never truly stop, but after we've gotten intense and both climaxed a time or two in a relatively short period period of time we'll bring it back a little into a less strenuous activity that more closely resembles foreplay for a while before going all out again.
