Basically dry humping is having sex with your cloths on, so it's not really sex it's just rubbing your body against someone. Humping a pillow is just having sex with a pillow but obviously it still is not sex

I wouldn't say everyone does it. Using a pillow is just like using any other item for stimulation (without going in to details due to rules on this site). I'd saythere's as many people happy to just use their hand!

The others are right that dry humping is basically masturbating with your face down and rubbing against something like a pillow.

Dry humping could also refer to humping a girl/guy but not actually removing your clothes when you do it.
