Life

Life is a void, of darkness and misery.
Within it there is no purpose.
Struggles here, struggles there
The good is outweighed by things that hurt us.

Evil is triumphant, sadness is prevalent.
There is nothing to live for.
We may see hope, but in the end,
We live to die, and nothing more.

Life is meaningless, it has no worth.
Everything might as well be left undone.
Why do we live just to go to sleep,
and once again wake up to sun

I will keep living, until it ends.
Until my time of death.
It will all be over,
when I take my final breath.

Time passes as the days go by,
And each day I patiently await.
For a certain day to come,
The one that seals my fate.
