League of Legends tops the charts for me. Lots of new and great content, quick fixes for bugs, and extremely fun.

call me lame, but Super Smash Bros Melee is the one. That game is awesome IMO. i mean, Brawl's good, but Melee is my favorite by far.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

I have never seen a game as deep and amazing as this one, taking the Star Wars franchise itself to the limits and taking down Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time from my favourite game ever throne. The story is extremely deep, the soundtrack excellent, the graphics good for their time. I have spent more than 500 hours playing and replaying the game since the replay value and duration of the game is huge. This is an absolute buy for every respectable gamer.

But i suppose it's a matter of opinion. I just enjoy the amount of polish League of Legends has and how fast they come up with new content and fixes for bugs. LoL is also good at wasting hours of my time, like no other game. I can play it for hours straight, and then I wonder "how many days of my life have I spent on this thing?"

Anyways: My favorite game is Borderlands.
My favorite classic is Super Mario Bros., now even beaten by that awesome 2009 FPSRPG.
