Favourite Interstates/State Routes

Do you use any state routes or interstates to get around?

I use California State Route 82 Daily, and on occasion "Interstate" (even though it only goes from San Francisco to San Jose :P) 280.

However, what's your favorite?

My favorite route I've driven on has to be California 247. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/California_State_Route_247)

Why is 35 your favorite interstate highway? Just curious since I drive that highway frequently here in Texas.

I am on it the most. It runs from Duluth, Minnesota to Laredo, Mexico. I live in the suburbs of Minnespolis.

Yeah same here, at least I did when I lived in a city that it ran through, now I don't travel it as much but still a few times a month.

Not sure if it's an interstate or state route, but it does go between states? The Nachez Trace Parkway. Sometimes we take it coming home from or going to my Granny's in Mississippi and it's really beautiful in the spring and fall. It's fun to count how many pheasants are wondering about the side of the road too.

Interstate 4 in Central Florida. I like the farmland and palm trees.

Interstate 80 from near my house to Lake Tahoe is a nice drive, minus Sacramento crap traffic. I like 280 as well Pat, everyone goes like 90 on it haha. My favorite road has to be Highway 50 through Nevada and Utah. Absolutely gorgeous. That and highway 36 from Red Bluff to Lake Almanor. Beautiful, smooth mountain road.

Maybe we're just more law abiding in the Los Altos/Palo Alto area.

In my area I like state route 65. It's the Main Street in my town. It starts from a large downtown area, goes past a casino, then through small towns, and then you're in the middle of nowhere driving along a river and its really scenic.

I have some family in Burlingame, so i normally drive 280 from there to SF, and I swear to god its the fricken Autobahn whenever I'm on it. Ill be doing 75-80 the whole time and getting passed fast.

I 25 and I 40
I mainly use those to travel on.

I 95 for several reasons because it connects Maine to Florida and runs basically 20 feet away from several major airports along the way
