Hi!

I am wondering if i would get a more muscled body by doing push ups 3 times a week.

I'm already doing it a month and I can see a little difference ...

Do you have some more exercises I can do at home?

I still want to have some more arm and leg muscles, 6pack...

Thanks

umm swimming is good for toning your body too. but it depends how developed you are cause I don't think I can put on muscle yet

Anyone can get muscle. A 5 year old could get muscle.

No they cant. Testosterone is needed to "build" muscle so until you hit puberty you can not gain muscle from training. You can train your cardiovascular system and the endurance of your muscles but you cant induce hypertrophy.

@ OP

Pushups are are a good general start. Look up different variations of them online and include dips as well... Body weight excercises can form a pretty good physique but you need to be creative and informed... Smart weight liftimg might be easier to iust get bigger muscles but pushups, pull ups, differemt body holds are the best complex excercises you can do without having to pay for a gym membership

Wrong.

If what you said was true, then no kid would be able to walk. Because walking requires muscle. Everyone can build muscle, but during puberty, kids are able to build muscle at a much more faster rate.

Just continue doing pushups daily. Having a good diet, swimming for sure, and other cardio and strength activities will definitely be good, or get that "toned" body you want. Sit ups are also good for abs.

Pushups build virtually no muscle. So no, slightly more toned, yes... but you will not get a more muscular body.

Do crunches/situps/etc for getting a six pack, but it will take a while most likely.

There is very little you can do at home without weights to get more muscular.

it depends how you do them on the days you do them
dont worry about doing a certain number each time, do it until your tired
and do that spread out a few times on that day
and if you do it three or four times a week, spread them out, dont do them days right in a row, have days in between and use those other days to work other parts of your body.
dont cram all your exercises into one day and then have repeating days of doing nothing.

Push ups and swimming - probably the best way to go.

Push ups three times a week shouldn't be enough. Do it five or six times for arm strength. I also use nunchucks and train with them to work on my forearm, biceps, and tricleps. For abs there are plenty of things you can do, as long as you do it religiously.

Pushups don't really work
Because you only push what you weight, so you reach a limit eventually where your body is used to the weight

Push ups are a good way to start, but you need to involve more to actually seriously get somewhere
