The semen stayed there. I can't find where I read it, but, it is not a healthy practise, you run the risk of rupturing your urethra, which would be immensely painful, and, an awkward trip the ER. You should let it out, it is meant to come out.

Urine is acidic, when you ejaculate, your semen is covered in some substance to help protect it from the traces of urine left in your urethra. However, when you urinate, I expect the semen is dissolved in it.

In a sense, it does dilute. But, the semen dies. In any case, the semen sits in your urethra until you pee, which is usually not long after ejaculation
