Ok so for French class I can do a presentation on anything vaguely related to France (which is school appropriate :P ). I can't decide what to do it on, so I'm just going to ask you guys to brainstorm some ideas. And it's not due for a week, so you got plenty of time to post any ideas!

So, it can be ANYTHING relating to France, at all? Like, at all?
WELL, I'll see what I can come up with.
- The recent legalizing of same-sex marriage there.
- You could do a project showcasing their beautiful scenery.
- The construction of the Eiffel Tower.
- The French Revolution.
- They own the fastest train in the world.
- Food culture.
- Architecture.
- Tourism.
That's all I can come up with right now. :P

All of these are great choices and their isn't much else I could think of besides their unique Fashion, many Clothe Designers Live in France.

You could do something on the following:
1. The French Foreign Legion
2. French automotive industry (Renault, Peugot, Citroein (sp?)
3. The French involvement in Mali fighting the terrorists
4. Napoleon
5. The French war in Algeria
6. The construction of the tunnel between England and France
I guess there are a lot of things you can do about France, and everything depends on your interests.

Question: Does it have to do with France, or French speaking nations? I mean, if you're in a French class, you should be focusing on more than just France.
1. The Bourbon Dynasty
2. French colonization in the Americas
3. The relationship between the English and French languages
4. French Basque nationalism
5. Rhineland
6. The French Foreign Legion
7. French involvement in the American Revolution
8. The development of the rail system in France
9. The War of Succession
10. The beret
11. French dining etiquette
12. French Indochina
13. Algerian independence

Thanks everyone for your wonderful suggestions! I've decided to do the presentation on the Bourbon dynasty. Originally I was going to do Napoleon but as it turns out half my French class is doing it .

Either the French architecture or French Revolution and human rights declaration, both are very interesting subjects.
