Sometimes, I find myself getting hungry for no apparent reason during school. Well, that's untrue, I get hungry because I get bored and my stomach decides to perform the mating ritual complete with sounds, specifically when my teacher stops lecturing.

I have thought about the use of appetite suppressants for this, and I'd like a general opinion. Has anyone used them? Thought about using them? Do you think it's safe, as a person recovering from an ED, to use them? I mean, I've tried chewing gum and drinking water and/or fizzy drinks, but that generally just doesn't work. I usually end up eating something to shut it up, and I've gained ten pounds over the course of this year. I now weigh 130 pounds, roughly.

This could also be because I've gotten lazy about exercising, but, still.

It is not a smart idea using appetite suppressants when you're recovering from an ED. If you find yourself hungry when you cannot feed that hunger (like in class) either try chewing mint gum or drinking plenty of water, or even try having a small snack.
