There seems to be a lot of misunderstanding of blackholes :?
I'll get to the debate question in a bit... (sentences are in different colors :P)

Blackholes are created simply from an object (big or small) that continues to collapse on itself from its own gravity. This creates an infinite gravity source in the center of the mass called a singualrity and then an event horizon that forms over it keeps the singularity from unleashing hell as we know it (not really hell, but exotic matter wich... not gonna type unless some1 wants me to explain it) The event horizon of course being the point of no return (only on extreme circumstances can this be overcome)
All blackholes are flat (except Kerr blackholes) and distort space and time as anything nears it. Blackholes have a serious curve on the space time continuem and this is why all time nearly is halted close to the singularity and almost all matter becomes thin as spaghetti strings. This curviture is so tremendous that the curve makes a straight tunnel on the space time continuem plain thingy And this finally means that something must exist on the other side!!! Now here is the debate... Is there anything on the other side??? If so, worm hole?
Tell me what YOU think... I know all these other theories, but I wanna hear ideas from lot's of people, not just two great theorists.

wait? why do you think something is on the other side. Most theories I know fall upon the lines that the gravity is so heavy that inside matter is smushed into a tiny point. No guy name Jeff, well unless you mean Jeff, his house, guts and nutty peanut butter are all fit into the size infinatly smaller then a pin point. Wouldn't it suck to be the first human ever to be close enough to a blackhole to get sucked in and crushed to death?

indeed that would suck

^_^ Yes and no... teen, b/c blackholes are so enormous in gravity, they would crush anything in side them, yet on a space time plain gravity is measured by curves or indentions in the plain and since a blackhole has the gravity it does, it creates a tunnel which must extend until something either closes it or opens it up to something. This is why I'm have this thread & poll :)

lol... not quite, for energy is nonexistent inside a blackhole and the mass that a blackhole contains cannot be measured, so its impossible to say that it actually has a solid center... and only Kerr blackholes are round, normal ones are flat :) - Kiros

whoa that stuffs interesting.
isnt there something like at the end point basics of physics are lost and matter is eventually destroyed and possibly even the energy they contain or rather turned into a different form of energy and blasted out in jets that propel out from the black hole some how.i think im confused :s

Ummmm.... I could've sworn there was a law that said matter and energy cannot be created or destroyed - it can only be changed, absored in to another mass or energy, or be moved
