If you watched the movie then you should know.

Peyote is a cactus, it has hallucinogenic properties. Makes ya trip.

Seems pretty cool but the movie probably doesn't show realistic effects of peyote.

It's a cactus. It gives you hallucigenic images as manjusri said. You'll trip out and see crazy things.

just an earlier form of mescaline, general belief is that it cause hallucigenic images like animals and self searching stuff. And acid makes Jim darker not peyote

I've done mescaline and peyote, and it gives a mindblowing trip. Everything got way brighter and more vivid and sounds were more crisp to me. one time though, I started seeing like it was a 3D movie and I took off the glasses, kind of like double vision but not. Anyway the time that I've done it when it was most intense I was having open eyed and closed eyed visuals and got the weirdest body high from it. I wouldn't suggest it as a first time trip lol

Peyote is a hallucinogen. It's illegal to use peyote unless you are a part of the Native American Church.
