My Older Cousin is Trying to Out me!

So the other day my cousin goes to a Psychic and has her forehead read and then texts me the next day saying "she knows my secret" but doesn't tell me right away, then a few min later she texts me "Are you Gay?" and I'm like No why would you ask that. So she tells me that another girl knows too, then she calls up my sister and tells her the big news, my sister confronts me I denied it also. But I really am not sure of what I am, I'm thinking BI, I have done things with girls and guys before. I am just sooo Pissed that she's trying to out me, if I want to come out it should be up to me, not to her spreading this psychic information she has. What you think I should do, say, etc?? Plz help.

Tell her to stop or you'll never talk to her again. I mean i would maybe never forgive someone that did that, up to u tho. Also i think in some states u can sue for slander, so if u want to threaten that.

It sucks when someone else tries to out you and you don't get to come out on your own terms, but you need to confront them all and deny it. Many would disagree with me, but I do think you should deny it. Deny it 100% and let it blow over. After it's over you can get back to finding out who you are and when your ready you can come out, or not. Best of luck!

Your cousin sounds like a jerk trying to out you especially when you're not sure about your own sexuality.

The way I would handle things is to deny the gay rumors and simply point to the girls you have done stuff with. That will be enough to quiet nearly everyone, and your cousin will look like the idiot.

If you ultimately find out that you're gay and want to come out, then do it on your terms. I think your profile lists you being 18, and when you go to college or start working you won't have to worry about this kind of immaturity.

If it means anything, sometimes family members can be a bigger pain than school bullies or enemies.

A psychic read your cousin's forehead and decided you're into guys? Make the ridiculousness of that the issue to anyone she tells. Don't even bother denying it...just shift the focus onto how crazy that is.

Just say "Yeah... That's what my cousin said. But she had to go to a psychic to learn that. So if you believe her that's your choice" or something like that.
You'd be shocked at how few people actually believe in what psychics say. The show Psych doesn't portray it right :P
And above all, don't worry about it. If your cousin is doing that, and you're unsure, just don't let it bother you. It might actually get people to believe her, and you could actually not be gay at all. So just don't worry about it, keep exploring your sexuality and see what happens. :)

Thanks guys, I kinda told her off the other day. She actually told my sister, who also confronted me about it as well. I told my sister that I've done many things with girls and experimented with guys also, but that doesn't mean anything as of right now. I'd be fine dating a girl or a guy at this point, as long as we both care for each other, and can relate, it doesnt matter to me.
